NELSON BAY HOCKEY CLUB is a family-friendly group who welcome all members of the community, of all ages and abilities, in both playing and non-playing roles.
All our competitions are mixed – for male and female players
ALL competition games and training are held at the Salamander Sports Complex, Tarrant Rd, Port Stephens.
Winter Comps: starting April and running through into September
Juniors – Minkies (5-6 yrs), C-grade (7-11), B-grade (10-14), A-grade (12-16) – Played Saturday mornings
Seniors – mixed, ages 13 to 60+ – Played Saturday around noon
Summer Comps:
Summer Twilight – Feb/Apr – Wednesdays 6.00pm
Indoor – Oct/Dec – Friday afternoon/evening at PCYC

History of Nelson Bay Hockey Club – Preamble: Barry Pugh is credited as the person who initiated the first Hockey Team / Club in Nelson Bay, in the early 1980’s.
